Am I prepared for this bodypump training right now... no not so much lol.  I will be ok though.  I am going to prepare myself as much as I can... I will have the DVD for the new release (which is what I will be training on) tomorrow, so at least I won't go in blind sided.  I am scared... but thank goodness I have a lot of support... especially from the group fitness team at MAC (ironically not even the gym I am doing this through!).  They all want to see me succeed though... and failure is just not an option.  Had I had more time to think about this I prob would have skipped pump training this go round... but it is what it is and theres not going back now!!!

Food so far:
This morning I was running late (its monday lol) so I just had a protein shake.  For lunch I had tuna with a little teeny weeny bit of mayo, mustard, an egg, and pickles.  Snack is peanut butter on a slice of wheat bread.  Im out of bananas.  :(  Dinner is salsa chicken... yum!!  Food will be pretty boring this week... I need to "lean" out some before pump training.  I dont want to go in swollen or bloated or anything like that... so very few carbs and lots of protein!  :) 

My workout schedule this week:
Monday: Pump (am), Combat (am)
Tuesday: Practice pump, run (am)
Wednesday: Pump (am), practice pump (am), practice pump (pm)
Thursday: pump (am), practice pump (am), combat (pm)
Fri, sat, sun: pump training

During the day this week I am working on push ups.  I need to be able to do them ALL on my toes.  I will find out tomorrow how many exactly that is.  I definitely do not want to go into training having to do the pushups on my knees!  :/

Ok so I need a goal...

I have gained.  I don't even know how much bc my scale is broken but I know I have.  I am considering tracking again but I don't think thats my problem.  My problem is the past 2 weeks between fashion shows, parties, and weddings I have binged.  Lots of eating and lots of drinking.  I can tell you even if I was still counting calories I would not have been counting those days anyway.  I know what is good and what is bad and what I need to do... so I think Im going to skip another week of counting and go from there.

I need some new goals though.  My ultimate weight loss goal is to get to 125 lbs.  And of course there is my Saints jersey goal... I need something else though.  Maybe a short term weight goal?  The other day I was thinking 15 lbs by Halloween... So that gives me about 10 wks from my next WI.  So 1.5 lbs/week... seems doable to me!!  Oh and here is one of the costumes I am loving right now... and yes I am serious!! :)

Halloween has always been one of my FAVORITE holidays.  Its always a big thing down here in New Orleans.  I have already been invited to about 5 Halloween events... they range from club events to house parties.  This Halloween will be even better though... I get to take Olivia trick or treating (not in that costume obviously haha!!).  I can NOT wait!!!  I have no clue what I want to dress her up as... something super cute and adorable though!  :)




What have I gotten myself into?!

Les Mills BodyPump Instructor Training.  Thats what I got myself into!!  Im trying not to doubt myself... but I dunno... Im stressing over it more minute by minute!  If I had like a month or more to prepare myself Id be ok... but um yea I have a WEEK!  Training starts Fri sept 3 and continues through until Saturday.  Each day is 9 long hours of training.  If this were for BodyCombat I would be ok.. but BodyPump worries me.  Its not my "thing".  Combat is my thing... but I figured Pump would help open some doors.... thats if I even pass the training (which considering I paid $335 for it I seriously hope I do lol!).  Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy Pump, I am just not obsessed with it like I am Combat.

I know I am outgoing enough to teach a class... and I am pretty sure I could be decent with the choreography... I just really hope I can hang with pump.  So this whole week will be all about practicing pump starting tomorrow morning.  For the next 9 days I will be eating, breathing, and sleeping BodyPump.

If I pass and do get certified this will open a lot of doors though.  My foot will be in the group fitness instructor world, and even better the Les Mills Fitness Instructor World.  Many people ask my why I don't get into fitness as my career... Im seriously considering it.  I know I am definitely getting my ACE certification for personal trainer.  Its something I originally wanted to do for knowlefge... but hey it can also be a good back up plan right?!  The legal field is hard to get into right now... my Dad is a lawyer and he can't even help me lol.

Hopefully tonight I can calm myself down about the whole Pump thing and go into class tomorrow morning ready to get in the mindframe I need to be in.  I know if I go into it like this I will fail.  I don't take failure very well!

New... Random goal...

So... I am a DIE HARD Saints fan.  I was a Saints fan before they were good lol.  I love football.  Love love loveeeee football.  I can NOT wait for it to start (preseason this Sunday woot!!)  Well, last year I ordered a Drew Brees jersey... a REAL one with the super bowl patch.  Thing is they don't have the REAL jearseys (sewn on patches etc) in women's... only men and kids.  Well the smallest men's jersey comes down to my knees and past my elbows.  So I ordered a large in kids (same size I used to get  in the "fake" jerseys).  Well, I guess since its differnt material they don't stretch as much and the jersey did not fit.  I never returned it.  Tonight I tried it on again... before I could not even get it on... today I got it on but it was snug.  So by the time the REAL season begins I want to be able to wear my REAL jersey.  I will update with a pic for the first real Saints game!  Here are pics from tonight.. and just a note... my hair is wet and Im in PJ shorts lol...

Ahhhh I skipped my workout!!! :(

Bleh I HATE HATE when I skip my workouts.  It throws off my WHOLE day.  To top it off I am leaving tomorrow morning to go to Biloxi for Gabby's bacholorette party.  Im thinking tomorrow I will get up early and go for a run or something.  I don't know what I am going to do with myself Saturday without bodycombat.  This Saturday will be the FIRST time since January that I missed a Saturday morning bodycombat class.  Yikes.  I might download the tracklist and do my own bodycombat on the beach lol!!

So I am planning on posting some before and now pics.  I know I need to... and I know it will help me.  I plan on including measurements with the pics. 

After the bacholorette party I know I will have damage control to do.  I am not going to kid myself... there will be drinking... lots of drinking.  So once I get back it will be back on track x2!!  Now I am not saying I am going to go crazy and eat everything in site... I'm just saying I know this weekend will be one BIG party.  And I must say... I am quite excited!!!

Oh and just so I can get some kind of work out in I do have my kettle bell packed and running shoes and work out clothes... I will get some kind of activity again.  I never ran on the beach before... that sounds like fun!

WI Day

BLEH.  My body does not respond well to ONE bad day.  Up to 141 today.  :(  Makes me sad to see 140s again.  And I know it won't get better after this weekend.  Its ok though... I will continue to work out and just stay positive and have lots and lots of fun this weekend.

This weekend is Gabby's bacholoretter party.  We are going to the Hard Rock in Biloxi.  Sunday is DETOXX by the pool at The Hard Rock!  Party party party!!! 


Today is RPM day and I am super excited!  Last week Gil (my fav RPM instructor) was not there... and I won't lie I was not into as much as I am when he is there.  So tonight I will get to breathless!!  Earn it to burn it!!!

Woke up in the morning feeling like P-Diddy...

Ok I swear I swear I will update this thing more often!!! 

Last weekend was HORRIBLE... and trust me the scale is reminding me of that!!  :/  Sunday we had a small get together for Olivia's bday... lasagna, bread, and CAKE!!!  Cookie cake at that!!!  Then Sunday evening we had a get together for my friends bday... CAKE, BEER, and CAKEEEE!!!!  AHHHHH!!!!  Yea I binged.... I was pissed off at myself bc I am leaving in a few days for the beach but I decided to let it go and start fresh.

So yesterday I went to BODYCOMBAT!!!  It was great.  For breakfast yesterday I had some raisin bran.  For lunch I had a salad with some grilled chicken and green beans.  Snack was some more green beans (yes I really do love green beans that much!!).  I also had a Jello caramel parfait for a snack... yum.  Oh and  pickle!!  Then for dinner I had meatloaf muffins (I splurged and had two!).  For my night time snack I had a scoop of protein powder mixed with water and ice.

So yea I FINALLY got my protein powder from Jordan.  We had been missing each other for a week.  I got the big tub of Designer Whey http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3311354&cp=3593187.2108294 chocolate protein for only $20!!  Woot thanks Jordan!!  It actually tastes really good and its only 100 cals per scoop... and its good calories.  It says I should have a scoop right when I wake up, 30 min before workout, during workout, after workout, and right before bed.  Thats a lot of scoops lol.  I dunno if I will get that much in... we will see. 

Breakfast this morning is 2 scoops of protein powder (I like more protein in the a.m.) and 1 hard boiled egg and 2 hard boiled egg whites.  I don't know about lunch and snacks yet but I am thinking crock pot chicken salsa for dinner since I have school tonight.  Summer semester is ALMOST over!!!  :)

4 more days till Biloxi!!!  I can NOT wait!!!
